Awards:
Pavel Drda obtained several awards during his studies. He has not
participated in other competitions thereafter.

2nd place in the nation-wide college competition (SVOČ, 1981)
A special honorable award in the nation-wide college competition (SVOČ,

Membership:
A member of the OSLAVA group
A member of the Artists‘ Union (Vallachia region)
Author‘s solo shows are presented since 1986 (Vsetín,
Odry, Žďár nad Sázavou, Bystřice nad Pernštejnem,
Nový Jičín, Olomouc). Joint show with Miroslav
Adámek since 1992 ( Vsetín, Ostrava, Hodonín,
Valašské Meziříčí, Zlín and Hradec
Králové). He participated at about 30 collective
exhibitions and sporadically at exhibitions abroad ( Italy, Hungary).
The author‘s work is a part of the range of the Czech and foreign
private collections. From the public collections we can, for instance,
mention the one at the Museum of the Vallachian Region in
Valašské Meziříčí.
He is engaged in intimate and monumental sculpture work such as
plastics, statues, reliefs and theirs objects. They are made from
ceramic, metal and sporadically from stone, artificial stone or
wood or from combinations of these materials ( pottery/glass,
pottery/copper, stainless steel etc.)
